The rail strike prompted this booking. Plane was delayed by more than three hours due to weather conditions in the UK, but that did not cause any issues. The wonderful driver waited for us, helped us with our luggage and drove us very carefully home in poor, freezing weather. We will now always use this service for return journeys. Overnight hotel stay and unreliable train journeys have been banished from our itinerary.
